Hoşgeldiniz ! In the captivating city of Istanbul, a slight distance away from the bosphorus, lies the Hilton Bomonti Istanbul. Personally, I was not ready for the size of this room (My family had to wait in the lounge for a good 20-30minutes before I was done taking pictures). This 2-bedroom suite with 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms & a private suana is definitely the biggest room I’ve been in to date. I even got lost a few times !
The grand lobby with modern contemporary decor and marble was very inviting.
The Check-in process was very efficient in the Executive lounge which was perched on the top floor of the Hilton Bomonti Istanbul. The views were spectacular, and evening canapes & cocktails during sunset was a serene experience in this already amazing city.
Upon entering the suite (which had not one, but three seperate entrances), I was greeted by an enormous living room, enough to accomodate 40 people or more for an event.
Leading to the twin bedroom, is a long dining table with a chandelier. There is a door on the right that leads to….
The kitchenette, which had a microwave, sink, coffee machine, refridgerator and most importantly an endless supply of premium drinkable water.
Perched on the 30th Floor, the views were excellent. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The first bedroom had 2 queen beds and an attached bathroom.
To the opposite side of the main living room, lies another labyrinth, first starting with yet another smaller living room which is connected to the….
the king bedroom. You could say that this was a king suite within a much bigger suite. With the rest of the room, it seemed like the hotel had just opened yesterday. The decor and condition of the room could not be faulted. And no, the maze isn’t done yet. On the right is a small walkway to the main bathroom & private sauna.
A bathroom fit for a king, this room also has its own private sauna which has clear instructions on how to operate. The over-sized marble bathtub has a breathtaking view of the city, and if that doesn’t tickle your fancy feel free to enjoy the enourmous double rain shower system.
To use the sauna simply fill the bucket with water, turn on the sauna and wait for awhile. Ladel the water onto the hot stones to create steam. Such a therapeutic experience before a refreshing bath.
As always, Hilton spots its signature Peter Thomas Roth bathroom amenities with my favourite grapefruit shower gel.
The hotel also boasts a indoor heated swimming pool & private sauna which is customary for most hotels in Istanbul for the guests to have a nice warm time during the colder seasons.
Breakfast at the main had a very big spread featuring different cuisines from around the world.
I could never have enough of the turkish sausages “Sujuk” which has an incredible addictive flavour and available at almost all good hotels in Turkey on its own, or with eggs in a pan with tomatoes called “Menemen”
Overall, this hotel is a superb choice even over more luxurious brands in the Bosphorus area. The surrounding streets have lots to see & shop, a nearby mall and minutes drive to the Sultanahmet area. The staff here frequently go out of their way to provide the best service for their guests as was my experience, not to mention, diamond members are treated well here. With such a complete flawless package, I am already planning my next stay the Hilton Bomonti Istanbul.
